Dorey Conway, Foothills Library Manager, has been chosen as the Yuma County Library District’s Employee of the Month for October 2017. This award is to recognize an employee that inspires us with their effort and attitude.
What was said about Dorey:
“Dorey has been a true team player by bringing Astronomy programs to all of the libraries in the District. The Eclipse Day event at the Main Library was a great program that took enormous planning and organizing. She has been instrumental in training new Supervisors and Librarians for the Branches. She works tirelessly to ensure that all aspects of training are covered. She encourages her staff to create new and innovative programs. Dorey would be a wonderful choice for Employee of the Month. She is always taking time to explain things and discuss issues, above and beyond what’s expected.”
Dorey received a mounted certificate, a name plate in the book of her choice, an Employee of the Month pin, and her photo will be hung at the Foothills Library during the month of October. Congratulations Dorey!
